UNCX, LLC ("UNCX," "we," "us," or "our") is a Wyoming limited liability company. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you visit uncx.com or use our products.
1. Information We Collect
We collect minimal information. If you join our waitlist, we store your email address. We do not use third-party analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising networks. No cookies are set beyond those strictly necessary for site operation.
2. Local-First Architecture
Our flagship product, Cortex Nexus Collections (CNC), is a local-first desktop application. Your data — conversations, files, API keys, configurations — stays on your machine. CNC does not transmit your data to UNCX servers. AI provider calls go directly from your machine to the provider you configure.
3. How We Use Your Information
Email addresses submitted via the waitlist are used solely to notify you about early access availability. We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with any third party. Waitlist emails are processed through MailCircuit, our own email infrastructure.
4. Data Retention
Waitlist email addresses are retained until you request removal or until we complete the early access rollout. You may request deletion at any time by emailing privacy@uncx.com.
5. Third-Party Services
This website is hosted on infrastructure operated by UNCX. We do not embed third-party scripts, analytics, or social media trackers. DNS is managed through CortexNS, our own nameserver infrastructure.
6. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (TLS), SSH-based deployment, and restricted server access. No system is perfectly secure, but we design for minimal data exposure.
7. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
9. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States.
